Join Australia’s leading disability service organisation and engage with people who are truly committed to what they do. Due to recent growth, HWNS has a newly created 12-month contract opportunity for a dedicated Systems Analyst to be based at our Belrose office in Sydney.

Reporting to the Senior Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of finance business processes, maintenance of finance systems (ERP) and facilitating the required training.

This role will also be responsible for designing and building reports and templates to meet the operational and functional manager’s needs.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate experience in a similar role, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, team player attitude and a willingness to expand your knowledge. Ideally, you have ERP experience and knowledge and are capable of working within the controls of systems, processes, and procedures.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting and resolving finance-related system issues
  • Effective administration and maintenance of the ERP system
  • Developing and implementing internal controls
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to identify business requirements [e.g. IT, Finance, Operations]
  • Training and supporting staff in the use of financial systems & applications
  • Development of dashboard reporting [e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Excel]
  • Establishing data sets in Data Warehouse

Key Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in commerce/business/accounting or IT
  • Demonstrated experience using databases [e.g. Access, SQL]
  • Broad experience and knowledge of ERP systems and finance applications
  • Experience in developing financial reports
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate and train other finance staff
