The Corporate Partnerships Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to maximise corporate philanthropic support for the Catherine Hamlin Fistula Foundation.
The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of management of corporate partnerships, including specialised knowledge of institutional fundraising best practices, proposal development, and donor solicitation.
Exemplary interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate effectively with culturally diverse staff across countries.
Interest in international development and women’s health strongly desirable.
Catherine Hamlin Fistula Foundation is an independent charity established in Australia to raise funds for Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia to eradicate obstetric fistula.
2019 marks the 60th Anniversary of Drs Catherine and Reg Hamlin’s arrival in Ethiopia. Over the past 60 years, Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia has grown to include six fistula hospitals across Ethiopia, the Hamlin College of Midwives and Desta Mender a rehabilitation and reintegration centre.
Today the clinical team at Hamlin have treated 60,000 women to repair their fistula injuries.
Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia's rehabilitation and reintegration program provides vocational training for patients to help ensure they are reintegrated back into their communities with independence, choices and dignity.
The Hamlin College of Midwives has graduated 145 highly skilled midwives who work in 66 Hamlin supported clinics across the breadth of Ethiopia, helping women wherever they live.
