About the role

The Executive Assistant is a central role and provides executive coordination to the Director of the Dementia Centre and members of the Senior Leadership Team. The successful incumbent will require initiative and planning skills and be able to liaise with different teams across HammondCare, as well as engage with a number of key external stakeholders.

This role will be expected to co-ordinate the Director’s diary, display wisdom and discernment in managing competing priorities and demands. The ability to liaise with other members of the Dementia Centre Senior Leadership Team and HammondCare Executive team and gather information that is relevant for the Director is key.

  • Strong computer skills including the Microsoft Office suite, database management and in a range of web platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and to work well with other staff
  • Display initiative and proactivity
  • Exemplary organisational skills and ability to prioritise competing demands and work to deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Resilience and flexibility to learn as the role evolves
  • Experience in an Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant position is desirable.
