Gippsland Women’s Health (GWH) is seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our team in the role of Change for Sam Coordinator.

Fixed 8 month term at 0.6 EFT with pro rata leave entitlements. Working days are negotiable and will be paid at 7.6 hrs per day over three days per week.

This fixed term position shall be paid in accordance with the modern SCHADS Award at Level 6 PP1, plus 9.5% superannuation.

Salary Packaging is available at completion of probation period as per GWH policy, with Super Guarantee Contributions paid on gross earnings.

Gippsland Women's Health is the lead organisation for gender equity, women’s health, prevention of violence against women, and family violence system leadership in Gippsland. We exist to improve women’s health, wellbeing and freedom of choice by advancing gender equity and working to prevent violence against women.

The Change for Sam Coordinator will support and assist the implementation of the Change for Sam initiative, through coordination of the Action Plan, stakeholder engagement, resource development and other project activities. Working towards the prevention of violence against women and strengthening response to incidents of family violence.

Together with Gippsland Women's Health, the Phillip Island community and partnering service providers identified the following key goals:

  1. To prevent Family Violence, particularly against women and children in the Bass Coast area.
  2. To coordinate current services and resources to better respond to incidents of Family Violence.
