Free To Shine believe children should be in schools, not brothels. So we identify girls at high risk of being targeted by traffickers, get her a uniform and a bike, fill a bag with books and pens, and visit her regularly to keep her in school and keep her safe. We are a humanitarian organisation founded in Australia who work in collaboration with communities and local governments in Cambodia so that girls can reach their full potential and contribute to their community and the world. We equip with an education to prevent sex trafficking.
The role of the coordinator is to manage operations and lead our team. The coordinator will support the Team Leaders (TLs) in leading a growing team of Education Outreach Officers (EOOs) in their delivery of Free To Shine’s scholarship program, and in their identification and enrolment of new girls onto the program. The coordinator leads the team in achieving the in-country goals set out in the Annual Business Plan.
The coordinator must have a deep understanding and commitment to the organisation’s vision, mission and values and be able to inspire and develop a team. A key part of the role is maintaining a happy, positive environment in which the team flourish.
40 hours a week, plus one Saturday per month.
AUD 1,000 per month towards living expenses.

This role is a volunteer position, with a small stipend. The successful candidate must be over the age of 18, and hold a current Working With Children Check. Interviews will take place in Cambodia in December and Melbourne in January.
