The Position

EMPHN is currently seeking to appoint a Lead – Quality and Procurement. Working as part of a small, close-knit team, this role will ensure the effective coordination and management of quality systems within our organisation and will partner with the business to maintain our ISO 9001:2015 certification. In addition, the successful applicant will engage closely with the business to advise on procurement and probity issues ensuring that procurement activities are undertaken in accordance with relevant policies and procedures and that value for money commissioning outcomes are achieved.

The person we are looking for

The successful applicant will have:

  • Extensive experience in procurement and contract management in a commercial or related government setting
  • Experience in implementing a continuous quality improvement framework such as ISO 9001:2015
  • Highly-developed communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels of an organisation
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement experience in re-engineering processes and integrating applications and systems

Our Organisation

Eastern Melbourne PHN (EMPHN) is one of the major commissioners of federally-funded health care services in Melbourne, with responsibility for improving the primary health care system. We do this by facilitating health system improvements for people in the eastern and north eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

A maximum term contract to 30 June 2021 will be offered to the successful applicant.
