Eastern Community Legal Centre (ECLC) has been working with individuals and communities for over 40 years to resolve legal problems and improve legal responses. ECLC makes legal assistance available to those in the community who would not otherwise have access to a lawyer, whilst prioritising services and programs to people and communities experiencing disadvantage.

What we need from you is demonstrated experience:

  • Leading a high performing team of client-focussed professionals
  • Working collaboratively across the Centre, including the legal practice, to achieve objectives
  • Being agile in a dynamic community services environment
  • Within the community or community legal sector, including knowledge of referral pathways.

In this role you will:

  • Manage service delivery across different geographical locations
  • Be accountable for managing a critical assessment, intake and referral service
  • Lead a team to deliver exceptional client services in a challenging environment
  • Drive performance with clear and targeted objectives
  • Focus on consistency, efficiency and process improvement.

In this fast-paced environment, you will need to be able to think on your feet and lead a team of professionals to deliver exceptional client services at all times. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline is required and Community/Community Legal Sector experience is highly valued, however we would like to hear from you if you have similar senior experience in a fast-paced, contact centre environment that is improvement driven and client-focused.
