Child Wise, a social enterprise of Save the Children, is one of Australia's leading child safety organisations. With over 28 years of experience working with government, non-government and for-profit organisations, we deliver bespoke advisory and training services to help organisations become child safe. Your facilitation of training will assist with the vision that all children are safe from violence, exploitation and abuse.

Where you come in:

In this full-time, permanent position, based in Carlton, you will be responsible for delivering high quality child safety training throughout Australia. You will identify the training needs of clients, assisting with developing interactive and engaging material that can be delivered externally. You will be part of our Child Wise department and report to our Training Operations Manager.

You will make an impact by:

  • Delivering a range of training packages to external clients
  • Independently managing all aspects of training delivery
  • Liaising with clients and preparing bespoke training

…You are passionate about the rights of children and are driven to use your knowledge to design bespoke training packages. You have strong interpersonal skills; this helps you to liaise with external stakeholders and facilitate effective training to diverse audiences. You can work autonomously as well as within a tight team and enjoy travel in your role.

This role requires:

  • Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment
  • Sound knowledge of the relevant child protection legislation across all jurisdictions
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering training packages
  • Demonstrated knowledge of people who have experienced trauma or abuse and an understanding of the impact of child abuse
