This position will work within a strong land management team to coordinate the planning and implementation of strategic fire management programs on Aboriginal land across the CLC region. A key function of this role is to collaborate with traditional owners and other key stakeholder with respect to fire management activities on their land. This role requires strong analysis and project planning skills. The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications in one or more of the following: land use planning, natural resource management, fire ecology and management, protects area management, environmental science or experience relevant to the practical implementation and coordination of on ground fire management.
An Ochre Card (working with vulnerable people check) and a driver’s licence are mandatory requirements for this position.
