COTA NSW is growing our social media audiences. We need someone to work with our Media and Communications Coordinator to develop and place content across our social media channels.

This is a part-time role and COTA NSW is a flexible workplace – it would be a great role to get some professional social media experience, and would suit a communications student.

The organisation

COTA NSW is the peak body representing the needs and interests of the diverse range of older people in NSW.

We are an independent, consumer-based, non-government organisation working to ensure that the voices of older people are heard by politicians, policy makers, service providers and the media.

The role

This is a new position, focusing on expanding the reach of COTA NSW’s social media channels. Using Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, COTA NSW communicates directly with older people, as well as policy and decision makers through these channels.

You will work closely with the Media and Communications Coordinator to develop and schedule content across all social media channels.

Your skills

We need someone who has experience using a range of social media platforms, and an interest in communicating with a diverse range of people.

You will have well-developed digital fluency, excellent communications skills, and strong organisational and time management skills.

Some experience working collaboratively in a small team would also be great.
