About the Role

CMY seeks a Youth Intern that is responsible for providing general project, administrative and facilitative support to a variety of projects delivered by the Youth Leadership Team.

You will currently be undertaking or recently completed a tertiary qualification (Certificate IV or higher) in a relevant professional discipline (social sciences, community development, etc.) and have:

  • Demonstrated understanding of the issues experienced by refugee and migrant young people.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills, including written and verbal.
  • Well developed organisational, planning and administration skills with a capacity to be flexible.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Be a young person (18-25 years old) from a migrant or refugee background.
