About the Organisation

Community Legal Centres NSW (CLCNSW) is a membership-led organisation, where leadership and change come through consultation and collaboration. Representing 37 community legal centres across NSW, CLCNSW supports our members, advocates for our sector, and above all strives for increased access to justice.

About the Role

The Executive Director of CLCNSW is the most visible and influential figure in the NSW community legal sector. 

With the funding crisis thankfully averted through the national #FundEqualJustice campaign, CLCNSW is now seeking to engage an Executive Director to lead us into the next stage. By maintaining existing relationships, forging new partnerships, and thinking creatively about funding opportunities, you will strengthen the sustainability of a vibrant and dedicated CLC sector and increase access to justice for the people of NSW.

You are driven by a commitment to social justice.

You understand and strongly support the role of community legal centres in providing access to justice. You know how to achieve social change, and systems change, while navigating complex stakeholder relationships.

You are an inspiring advocate, who leads through collaboration and action, to build strength and resilience in your organisation and beyond.

You are visionary. You not only think big, you also know how to make it happen.

You also know how to manage staff, finances, and risk.
