We are seeking a Community Connections Coordinator for our Volunteer and Community Connections Team.
This role is responsible for implementing, supporting, evaluating and reviewing a quality volunteer program to meet the needs of our service areas. This includes a hydrotherapy program, land based activities, social support groups and community transport services. You will be overseeing the day to day activities of our volunteers that involves registering, screening, matching and scheduling volunteers to Connect Health’s programs, projects and business activities.
You will be required to meet the diverse volunteer requirements to support our services and effectively coordinate the volunteer service in accordance with the business plan, funded and unfunded program guidelines and organisational policies and procedures. To maximise our volunteer effectiveness you will be recruiting, training and supporting the team to expand proficiency and organising a timely, efficient and safe Community Transport Service to meet client needs.
Salary and conditions are as per Victorian Stand-Alone Community Health Services SACS Multiple Enterprise Agreement 2017 – 2020. A condition of employment is a valid Police Check and Working with Children’s Check to be obtained at your expense.
