An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for a full time solicitor based in Tennant Creek. Central Australian Women's Legal Service receives funding under the Womens Safety Package to operate a Domestic Violence Unit in Tennant Creek assisting women who experience or are at risk of experiencing Domestic and Family violence.

Due to the nature and requirements of this role, applicants are required to be female.

This position is well suited to a practitioner with experience in domestic and family violence issues, family law, child protection and other relevant practise areas.

The applicant will need to demonstrate an understanding of the cultural, social and economic issues facing women in the Northern Territory, particularly Central Australia and the Barkly regions.
