The core focus of this Health Promotion role is to lead the Congress Young Women's Community Health Education Program Educational Package through engaging, liaising & consulting with members of the target group (young females 10-25yrs), cultural consultants, Congress Staff, relevant related service providers & community stakeholders. Under the direction of the Tobacco Health Promotion Manager this position will be required to establish & maintain links with schools, youth centres, community groups & relevant youth & health organisations in order to provide regular holistic sexual health education sessions to young Aboriginal females between the ages of 10 - 25yrs. The Health promotion Officer is also responsible for the delivery of the female equivalent YMCHEP Educator Training Course & the development of female appropriate educational materials to be used by female educators & trainers as teaching tools.
