With the help of our donors, we protect and help manage more than 8 million hectares, providing habitat for almost 6000 native species, including at least 239 threatened species. 

About the role

This is a unique opportunity to join Bush Heritage and assist in the implementation of our restoration project with a specific focus on pest animal control strategies on our iconic Bon Bon Station Reserve. This role is directly linked to provide essential management of key threats identified to the success of the reserve’s restoration project and to our conservation targets for Bon Bon Station Reserve.

About you

You will have a passion for conservation and practical work experience in land management and natural resource management coupled with demonstrated ability to work independently. You can work and communicate with a wide range of people and are committed to helping Bush Heritage achieve its goals. You will have experience and desire to work as part of a conservation restoration program with special focus on pest animal management and control. You will have experience using Microsoft Office, email and basic software packages in addition to using firearms and holding relevant licenses and training. It is essential that you have a current manual driver’s license with the 4WD and 4WD recovery experience.
