Located in Brisbane’s bayside area of Thornlands, Moreton Shores community is built around a small lake with sea breezes and local wildlife abounding. Our residential aged care services are delivered in a warm, welcoming setting. 

About your role

We are looking to hire one person for this role, with experience in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy.

As a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist with Bolton Clarke, you are directly contributing to the improvement of our aged care clients so that they can live their best life.

As a Physiotherapist your role includes:

  • Assessment of clients
  • Assisting with rehabilitation and pain management for our clients
  • Providing physiotherapy services to assist with mobility and strengthening
  • Development of individual care plans
  • Fall prevention, education and strength training work

As a Occupational Therapist your role includes:

  • Act as a consultant to nursing staff in their provision of care of clients and carers
  • Contribute to the teaching of Bolton Clarke staff and the staff of other organisations in relevant education programs
  • Recommends appropriate manual handling equipment
  • Liaises with a wide professional and community network
  • Development of individual care plans

What do we need from you?

  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience working in a similar role
  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy
  • Empathy, strong communication and a desire to work for a values based organisation
  • A pre-employment medical assessment may be required for this role
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements within Aged Care (ACFI)
