Seeking a passionate, motivated leader to steward our inbound and outbound Supporter Engagement teams. If you have demonstrated experience in customer service, proven ability to lead, inspire and motivate others, and a heart to serve the poorest of the poor, this could just be the role you’ve been waiting for!

Why Baptist World Aid Australia?

Baptist World Aid Australia is an international Christian development organisation working in 18 countries. We partner with like-minded organisations overseas to implement community development and disaster projects that empower communities to lift themselves out of poverty. Last year, our work directly benefited 332,391 people.

When you join Baptist World Aid, you’ll become part of a rich, 60-year history. Our inbound and outbound Supporter Engagement teams play a crucial role in ensuring that each of our valued supporters has a positive experience when interacting with our organisation. This is incredibly important to our mission.

As a valued member of our Management and Supporter Engagement teams, you’ll be integral to achieving our mission of helping Australians tackle the injustice of global poverty.

We’re looking for someone with the know-how, passion, and commitment to nurture our faithful supporters… is it you?

Who we are looking for?

As a talented customer service or call centre professional with a natural flare for leadership, you’ll utilise your skills to lead your team of customer service and tele-sales professionals to deliver a superb supporter experience, while achieving department goals.

Whether they’re the first touchpoint when responding to incoming queries or inviting supporters to generously partner with our work through tele-servicing calls, you’ll provide guidance and support to your team, encouraging and motivating them to deliver excellence and professionalism.

Your experience leading people and proficiency in operational planning, financial management and people management will serve you well in this role. As a leader, you’re excellent interpersonal skills will help you work with a range of internal stakeholders to achieve agreed outcomes. Your positive and upbeat outlook will enable you to lead your team well.

As a Christian, you’ll share our vision for a world without poverty as God intends, and participate enthusiastically in prayer sessions and biblical reflection sessions.

Why work with Baptist World Aid?

  • People: Work with a team of people who are as passionate about ending poverty as you are!
  • Culture: Motivated by love we respect and value all people… starting with each other.
