Project Officer, Property Mediation

About the role

As the Project Officer, Property Mediation you will lead a project plan to enable the integration of Property Mediation into Anglicare WA’s Family Relationship Centre’s state wide. You will play an integral role in internal practice development, establishing service standards and developing outcomes. This role will have a state wide focus on service delivery related to Property Mediation, with the flexibility to attend to place based needs.

This role is a part time (30 hours per week), maximum term opportunity until 30 June 2020, with the possibility of a further 12 month extension. 

About you

You are a passionate and talented individual who is driven to deliver a quality service for our clients.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Tertiary Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or other relevant tertiary qualification
  • Post graduate Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner Qualification  
  • Knowledge and experience in Family Dispute Resolution practice, including property mediation.
  • Knowledge of Project Management and Change Management principles.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills including conflict resolution and negotiation
  • Advanced skills in supervision and case consultation.
  • Knowledge of the effects of family separation on children and young people.
  • Knowledge of the effects of domestic violence on families, children and young people.
  • Highly developed supervision skills within a reflective practice framework
  • Ability to lead and influence by inspiring excellence

You also must possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year and a WA Drivers Licence.

  • $89,819 - $93,569 full time salary range per annum pro rata + 9.5% superannuation
  • In addition to your remuneration, you will enjoy generous tax-free salary packaging benefits where you can package up to $15,900 per annum and not pay tax on that amount
  • Additional 3 days (pro-rata) leave per year.
