About the role: 

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this role will assist the payroll team to provide Aspect employees with comprehensive, responsive and accurate payroll services including payroll processing and employee enquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll processing which involves data entry into the Aurion payroll system, e-filing, archiving and document management
  • Updating and maintaining employee payroll records
  • Liaising with business unit managers and supervisors to provide and obtain information and documents
  • Responding to payroll enquiries from Aspect staff in a timely manner with sensitivity and at all times maintaining confidentiality and privacy

Skills, experience and qualifications:

  • TAFE certificate or higher qualification desirable
  • Minimum 1 year experience in performing payroll duties – preferably in a complex business environment (i.e multiple industrial awards and complex compliance requirements)
  • Knowledge of Aurion payroll system an advantage
  • Understanding of industrial awards/agreements, organisation structure and policies
  • High level attention to detail and accuracy
  • High level oral and written communication skills
  • High level customer service focus
  • Intermediate level Microsoft application skills and technical capability navigating internet and intranet for information

If successful you will also be required to undertake a National Police Check which Aspect will arrange.
