Our client – The Helmsman Project – assists young people in their personal development via personal coaching, adventure education and a specific community project. The programs are offered free to year nine students in schools in Sydney’s west and south west who are at risk of not achieving their potential.

The Helmsman Project Coaches Will Receive:

  • Learning and experience of developmental coaching
  • Opportunity to learn from leaders in coaching psychology
  • An opportunity to contribute skills and experience to the development of young people
  • An opportunity to build hours towards professional coaching accreditations

The Helmsman Project Coaches Must Have:

  • Formal coach training and professional experience in providing one on one coaching. Experience in group coaching would be highly desirable
  • Experience working with adolescents
  • Be able to commit to the eight week program (approx. two hours per week plus a five day adventure camp)
  • A current Working with Children Check

This position will challenge you and will give you an opportunity to make a different with today’s youth. You will work with some outstanding colleagues and be part of an internationally recognised program.
