ACSA is funded by the Commonwealth government to provide sector support and development activities to community aged care providers funded under the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP).

We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated person who will quickly engage with service providers to understand their support needs in terms of the aged care reforms, quality service provision and compliance with funding body policy.

You will primarily work with CHSP providers in Sutherland Shire as a member of the ACSA Workforce and Industry Development team. ACSA has flexible work practises which provide for working from home where it suits the role.

You will need:

  • Proven experience managing/co-ordinating a CHSP or Home Care program or in a sector support and development role
  • Understanding of the aged care reforms and impact on CHSP providers
  • To be self-motivated with a positive engaging style
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and achieve quality outcomes
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Current driver’s license and have access to a vehicle for work use

This position reports to the Senior Workforce & Industry Development Officer and will be contracted to 30 June 2020. Remuneration package includes a salary sacrifice arrangement.
