QCOSS is looking for an experienced, innovative, and driven Membership and Events Officer to deliver a range of high-quality events and activities to grow and retain QCOSS membership; and contribute to building QCOSS partnerships including through sponsorship and fundraising.

About you:

You will have:

  • Relevant qualifications in Event Management and/or Marketing (highly desirable) with a minimum of 3-5 years demonstrated experience to fulfil the requirements of the role
  • Excellent coordination and planning/project management skills with expertise to increase the profile and exposure of QCOSS through the planning, coordination, and delivery of creative, memorable, and diverse events
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to engage and build positive working relations with a diverse range of stakeholders including QCOSS members
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying opportunities for funding and sponsorship to contribute to campaigns, events and other discrete projects
  • Experience using a range of software including CRM/stakeholder management systems.
  • High level ability to prepare a range of written documents including project proposals and plans, reports, briefings and communications to members.

All this plus a competitive salary between $95,737 - $100,064, dependent on relevant qualifications and experience to fulfil the requirements of the position. Superannuation of 12%, and access to salary packaging benefits including working from home, flex time and time of off in lieu provisions.
