The Family Link Facilitator is responsible for the delivery of the Family Link Program, a place-based program involving community-based initiatives that address community needs and build capacity and capability within the local service system and within the families that participate. This program incorporates a range of activities to meet the needs of vulnerable families and children in the local area and to offer multiple entry points to extend the reach of the program to those most in need.

The Family Link program involves running activities for pre-school and primary school aged children as well as providing parenting support and training as agreed under our contract with Mission Australia's Communities for Children Inala to Ipswich program.

This is a varied role that will require flexibility and initiative as well as a friendly, helpful, and respectful approach to working with local families, schools and other agencies.
