CatholicCare NT is a Catholic social service agency established in the Diocese of Darwin. We provide services throughout the NT, including service centres in Darwin, Palmerston, Malak, Tiwi Islands, Daly River, Wadeye, Jabiru, Maningrida, Katherine, Tennant Creek, Alice Springs, Santa Teresa, Titjikala, Finke and APY lands.
The CatholicCare NT Daly River / Nauiyu office offers:
The Team Leader is responsible for the integration of multiple programs as well as the leadership and integration of a multi-disciplinary team at Nauiyu. The service delivery component of the role will focus primarily on Children and Parenting, School Counselling and the further development of the Safe House operations.
Program portfolios may be subject to change within the contract period. This position has a particular focus on leading and mentoring site staff, applying professional knowledge and support whilst providing direct services and managing complex client work.

Nauiyu is an Indigenous Australian community 230 km South of Darwin, the traditional owners of the land are the Malak Malak people. Nauiyu is set on the banks of the Daly River, which snakes its way around the community. The Daly River is regarded as one of the best fishing locations for catching Barramundi in Australia. Each year it hosts two nationally renowned fishing competitions, the ‘Barra Classic’ & ‘Barra Nationals’.
