What’s the gig?

The Co-Lead Community Organiser is a three day a week position focused on building a powerful movement across Australia to protect nature and ensure a safe climate into the future and leads a team of high performing organisers across the country.

You’ll provide strategic oversight of key elements of the Community Organising program, develop and deliver training and lead, motivate, coach, and develop Community Organisers in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. You will also manage a small number of ACF Community Groups in their growth and development, ensuring you get to inspire and empower communities directly.

You are a committed and experienced organiser who gets joy from supporting your team to build and deploy power in a way that wins campaigns. You’re an emotionally intelligent leader who loves motivating, coaching, and empowering your team to deliver on campaign goals while never shying away from a tricky situation or challenging conversation.

As someone committed to continuous improvement, you see every engagement with your team or our community as a learning opportunity. You love trying new things and are constantly evolving your organising practice and supporting others to do the same.
