If you're not already supporting these organisations, please visit their websites and consider supporting them in future:
- The Animal Welfare League of Qld takes care of approximately 10,000 strayed and abandoned animals a year throughout South East Queensland. The AWL receives no state or federal government funding, relying predominantly on the community for support.
- Our Place is a support centre in the inner western suburbs of Sydney, providing food, care, counselling, advocacy, legal and outreach services to some of Sydney’s most disadvantaged and marginalised citizens. Our Place receives no federal, state or local government funding and is managed and staffed primarily by volunteers.
- Environment Tasmania Inc. (ET), Australia's youngest conservation council, was publicly launched in December 2006. ET is a peak body representing more than 20 Tasmanian environment groups, with collective representation of over 5000 Tasmanians.
- The Humanitarian Crisis Hub supports community groups that work to improve the human rights of people living in war and conflict. The Humanitarian Crisis Hub is an independent non-government organisation that is not aligned to any political party or religion.
