Tandem is looking for a Media and Communications Advisor with media experience to join our small and dynamic communications team.

This is an exciting role that will help to shape and deliver our new media strategy and Impact Report, to help us amplify our advocacy and stories of impact.

Tandem exists to give a voice to Victorians who support those with mental health challenges.

For 30 years, we have been standing for the rights of families and carers in the Mental Health and Wellbeing System.

We work with our members and partners to build a better Mental Health and Wellbeing System that:

• shifts away from treating people as isolated individuals to recognise that people thrive when their significant relationships are healthy and supported,
• recognises and supports the roles and needs of families, carers and supporters, and
• supports and respects the carer lived experience workforce as key drivers of this change.

We are the Victorian peak body – and the only organisation - working solely for family, carers and supporters in mental health.

Most of our staff have experience of caring for or supporting someone with Mental Health Challenges or participants on NDIS. We bring our experiences and understanding to the work we do to change the system for the better.
