About the role

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for business growth and service delivery excellence?

As the General Manager Performance, Client Engagement and Compliance, you will provide executive leadership, strategic and operational direction to RA-NT’s program performance, client engagement and compliance.

As part of the Senior Executive Team (SET), you will significantly contribute to the direction of the organisation and work closely with the CEO and SET to drive organisational performance, business transformation, growth, and outcomes, while fostering a team of focused professionals committed to excellence in client service delivery.

You will provide leadership across teams, to maximise the potential capacity and quality of service delivery across all programs. You will be independent of program delivery, responsible for system oversight and auditing, with a focus on strategic evaluation of operational programs, budget performance, and system compliance.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Tertiary level qualifications in an appropriate field, with extensive leadership experience in a dynamic organisation.
  • Proactive leadership style and team development skills, with the ability to apply strategic vision and collaborative drive.
  • High-level conceptual skills, with experience in developing strategic and operational direction.
  • Strong business acumen and demonstrated experience in both operational and strategic evaluation of system and performance.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in effectively managing a community-based organisation or related management experience.
  • Ability to manage a range of diverse projects and issues.
  • Proven experience in the development, oversight and evaluation of budgets and financial management processes.
  • Demonstrated expertise in converting data analysis into tangible business improvement outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience in liaising with government departments/agencies, managing government contracts or projects, and operating within a political environment/framework.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and verbal communication skills including the ability to represent and negotiate on behalf of the organisation, communicate policy position and maintain effective networks with other service providers and stakeholders in the community.

Desirable

  • Business-related tertiary qualifications.
  • Experience in leading change and business transformation.

Requirements

  • A satisfactory Northern Territory working with children check.
  • A satisfactory national criminal history check.
  • A commitment to our Safeguarding Children Practice and Behaviour Guidelines.
