- Ability to carry out research on matters relating to the Member’s electorate duties and responsibilities;
- Local knowledge, including the boundaries, geography and demographics of the electorate.
- Knowledge of the MLA’s role and function in the Assembly;
- Knowledge of the respective roles and functions provided by federal, state/territory and local government agencies;
