Casual and fixed-term opportunities available.

The NSW Teachers Federation is seeking experienced IT Support who provides and delivers technical support including day-to-day user support relating to the network, software, hardware, printers and business reporting.

We currently have 2 opportunities available:

1. Fixed-term full-time assignment (1 June 2024 to 20 August 2024)
2. Casual opportunity

About You

To be considered you will need to clearly demonstrate the following essential skills and experience:

• A degree, diploma or certificate in IT and relevant work experience.
• Technical skills in hardware such as networking, printers, modems, computers, cabling and laptops.
• Advanced software skills in Microsoft Windows and Office products.
• Problem solving skills relating to IT to provide user support.
• The ability to work unsupervised.
• Respect for sensitivity and confidentially of issues handled.
• Listening, oral and written communication skills to enable effective communication with users and the ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner
• Planning and organising skills and the ability to work under pressure to ensure that tasks are completed within deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Positive attitude to unionism
• Demonstrated awareness of WHS policies and procedures
