Position Overview:

Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Program Manager will spearhead the delivery of Court Network's DFV Information Desk Services throughout Queensland. This pivotal role involves leading a team of Volunteer Coordinators across five magistrate court locations, while also managing services and a volunteer team within the Brisbane magistrate's court.

The position is 22.8 hrs (0.6 EFT) over 4 days per week. Details to be negotiated.

The position is classified under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010. Starting salary is based at Level 6 and is a 2-year fixed term contract with potential to be permanent depending on future funding arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive the delivery of Court Network's DFV Information Desk Services across Queensland.
  • Manage a team of Volunteer Coordinators and oversee their leadership of volunteer teams across 5 court locations.
  • Take charge of directly managing services and a volunteer team within the Brisbane magistrate's court.
  • Ensure the effective operation of services, including team leadership, volunteer management, and stakeholder relationships.
  • Provide strategic direction and guidance to optimise program effectiveness and impact.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in areas such as social work, criminology, social science, or community development.
  • A strong commitment to social justice and a deep understanding of systemic barriers faced by marginalised and vulnerable individuals.
  • Demonstrated experience in staff management and team leadership, with a focus on best practices in volunteer management.
  • Proven track record in operational service or program management.
