Administration Officer - Family Violence

The role is a 12 month contract role offered on a part time 0.9 basis. The salary for this role is a SCHADS Level 3-4 ($76,272.04 to $82,045.60) + 11% superannuation.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Orange Door (TOD) provides a way for women, children and young people experiencing family violence to access the services they need to be safe and supported.

As the Administration Officer – Family Violence, you’ll provide support to the GenWest Specialist Family Violence Leadership team within The Orange Door. The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with the administration of Client Relationship Management (CRM) system, including brokerage applications, referrals, data collection, spreadsheets, and screenings.
  • Coordinate with GenWest staff regarding meetings, meeting room bookings, calendar invitations, correspondence, creating agendas and minute taking.
  • Assist with the coordination of crisis accommodation for victim survivors, including liaising with accommodation providers regarding vacancies and invoice processing.
  • Provide administrative support with referrals for family violence case management.
  • Assist with administration of the police referrals portal and SHIP.
  • Coordinate referrals and correspondence between the GenWest TOD team, GenWest Case Management and Crisis Response teams.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of GenWest vehicle bookings at The Orange Door.
  • Communicate/correspond with clients.
  • Assist with community and in-house events and trainings.
  • Provide administrative support with referrals for security measures.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as requested by the GenWest TOD Leadership team.
  • You will have a proactive nature, enjoy working collaboratively and have exceptional organisational skills to effectively manage competing priorities. Experience working in family violence, or a related field is highly desirable, as is a relevant tertiary qualification.
