Carers Victoria is the peak body for unpaid carers in Victoria. Our purpose is to advance understanding of Victoria’s unpaid carers and improve their access to assistance. Our teams provide services and advice for carers living in Victoria including education workshops, programs, and events across the state.
The Regional Carer Support Advisor will organise and deliver a new suite of local group programs of activities to connect and support unpaid carers in specific regional communities.
This is one of three new roles that Carers Victoria is establishing in regional Victoria, so we are looking for someone with strong organisational skills, the ability to work with carers from diverse backgrounds to effectively support their engagement in local respite activities and the ability to build and sustain strong relationships with local providers and potential referrers will be pivotal.
