We are seeking an experienced Practice Leader to join our team and maintain our focus on providing quality services to the local community!
As our next Integrated Practice Lead, you will implement strategies to ensure the Orange Door meets the needs of children, young people, and families accessing our services. Your guidance and support will ensure our team of Practitioners are empowered to change the lives of vulnerable clients every day.
In this role, you'll drive a collaborative, integrated approach to service delivery, especially in cases that require a multidisciplinary response. You'll provide guidance and leadership to the Orange Door team, helping to ensure that our clients receive the very best care and support possible.
A key recommendation of the Royal Commission into Family Violence was to establish a network of Support and Safety Hubs across Victoria. This was to provide a new way for women, children and young people experiencing family violence and families who need assistance with the care and wellbeing of children to access the service they need to be safe and supported. The Orange Door Initiative was implemented across Victoria as the intake point for Family Violence and Child Wellbeing issues. The safety of victim-survivors is the Orange Door’s first priority.
The hub will also help to maintain a focus on perpetrators, so the risk they pose can be assessed and they are held to account for their behaviour.
Brophy works closely with the Orange Door to build the capacity of vulnerable families and individuals to enable them to self-manage and be the best they can be through referrals to many of our program areas.

We embrace individuals of diverse races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, ages, religions, abilities, and nationalities, recognising the richness that varied experiences bring to our efforts in supporting individuals and building stronger communities.
Our commitment extends to actively listening, learning, and evolving to become an accessible, inclusive, and secure organisation for all, encompassing First Nations peoples, members of the LGBTIQA+ community, individuals with disabilities, and those with culturally diverse backgrounds.
