The Brunswick Neighbourhood House Cooperative Ltd (BNHC) was established in 1980 and serves as a vibrant hub for diverse community members, offering a wide range of programs, services, childcare and activities aimed at enhancing well-being and fostering inclusivity.
We are a not-for-profit organisation with a team of core and support staff including volunteers.
We are governed by a Board of Directors who provide direction to the organisation and make key policy decisions. This role reports directly to the Board of Directors.
Brunswick Neighbourhood House operates out of two sites offering a variety of learning and social support programs, occasional childcare, and services to the diverse community of Brunswick and surrounding areas.

BNHC purpose is to build the capacity of individuals and create a healthy, safe, and connected community by offering opportunities to learn, create, interact, and engage.
The CEO is responsible to the Board of Directors for the operation, management and development of BNH, and for ensuring that BNH is operated in accordance with the Board’s policy decisions, the strategic plan and the service agreements with funding bodies.
