Be You is the national mental health education initiative, funded by the Commonwealth Department of Health and Aged Care and delivered by Beyond Blue in collaboration with Early Childhood Australia and Headspace.

The Communications Adviser positions (x2) are part of the newly created Communications stream within the Strategy, Policy, and Advisory team in Be You.

The role will support the Communications Team lead to develop Be You’s Strategic Communications Plan and will be responsible for the delivery and implementation of this plan in close collaboration with Be You’s Experience Team and Beyond Blue’s Communication team. This includes supporting the development of Be You’s narrative and key messages. The role will support the Be You Experience team to develop key communication assets and collateral and delivery through appropriate channels.The role will support the Team Lead with planning and delivery of proactive media opportunities in collaboration with the Beyond Blue Communications Team.

The appointee will be tertiary qualified in journalism, communications, media, or a similar field. They will have a strong understanding of all areas of media and communications, a strategic mindset, strong stakeholder and relationship management experience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience planning, coordinating, writing, and editing content for various channels is desirable.
