Youth Challenge Australia’s (YCA) Volunteers In Community Engagement (VoICE) program offers skilled young Australians the opportunity to volunteer in India on short-term placements.
A last minute opportunity has arisen for a Fundraising Co-ordinator to work with the Belaku Trust. Using your skills and experience, you will conduct research to identify new agencies that could support Belaku, prepare proposal templates for future submissions and put together proposals for identified funding opportunities.
Applications are open for a short time only - until Wednesday 8th February. The successful candidate will be placed with the Belaku Trust from mid-late March.
Essential skills and qualifications
- Australian citizenship
- Aged between 21 and 30 (at the time of departure)
- Previous working or living experience in a cross-cultural environment or in a developing country
- Minimum 1 year experience in a fundraising position, ideally in an NGO
- Excellent writing skills
- Good working knowledge of Excel
- A knowledge and commitment to YCA’s mission, vision, values.
Desirable skills and qualifications
- Familiarity with online fundraising platforms
- Experience developing written fundraising materials.
