WWF-Australia, the global conservation organisation, is seeking a highly skilled manager with experience achieving significant communications outcomes through planning, development and evaluation of innovative communications strategies.  Managing a small team of communications and media professionals the position promotes WWF-Australia’s conservation and fundraising objectives to increase public awareness and grow supporter action and advocacy.

The successful candidate will need:

  • A strong track record in successfully delivering communications strategies and programs with a focus on building engaging advocacy campaigns via traditional and social media channels to build a supporter advocacy base and raise public awareness
  • Advanced strategic planning, business management and reporting skills
  • Excellent networking, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Positive entrepreneurial leadership style

A keen interest in environmental conservation and an understanding of audience centric communications and fundraising objectives within the not for profit sector would be an advantage.
