WorldShare is a Christian aid and development organisation, supporting locally-led initiatives overseas. We believe that God is the defender of the vulnerable and calls us to help those in need. Motivated by Jesus' call to love our neighbour, we support Christian partners in developing countries around the world.

We assist our partner organisations in their programs which care for children, empower women, provide education and health care, and demonstrate the love of God. We bring Australian supporters together to resource and encourage our overseas partners, through generous giving, faithful prayer and overseas partner visits. We are integral in enabling a close relationship between our partners and supporters.

Operating since 1943, WorldShare is an established organisation and is currently going through an exciting period of change and evolution and this has seen new structure, systems and processes introduced.

The International Partnerships Manager is a critical leadership role within WorldShare. In this role, you will assist our partner organisations as they carry out high quality programs which are aligned with the specific needs in countries overseas, the vision of our partner organisations and WorldShare's mission and strategic plan.

The International Partnerships Manager, reporting to the CEO, will develop the international partnership strategy, systems and tools to guide WorldShare's involvement with our partner organisations and oversee WorldShare-supported programs and projects. You will use your knowledge of and skills in program design, management and monitoring and evaluation to develop a robust, outcome-based partnership program and strengthen the capacities of our partners overseas. You will have a hands-on role in which will include trips to the field to build relationships and monitor the progress of the programs WorldShare supports. Key to this position will be your ability to cultivate and maintain collaborative relationships.

You will have the opportunity to bring your ideas and experience to this role and instrumentally shape the ways in which we support our partner organisations overseas. This is a rare opportunity for the right person to be able to spread their wings in a pivotal leadership role during a time of growth and progression in WorldShare. In working for WorldShare, you know that your work is making an impact on the lives of people in need overseas.

You are motivated by your desire to see God's love transform and lift up communities overseas. You have relevant experience and qualifications in international development and are supportive of genuinely locally-led initiatives. You are a strategic and systems thinker. You're flexible, comfortable in working in a variety of contexts and thinking strategically about the big picture as well as taking care of the details.

You enjoy roles where you have ownership, allowing you to build quality processes and oversee all aspects of your area of responsibility. You are able to adapt as required to work effectively within an evolving and expanding organisation and in challenging environments overseas. You thrive in engaging in respectful trusting relationships with everyone, and particularly partner organisations from developing countries. You love sharing your knowledge in respectful and constructive ways.

Being a multi-tasker, you are comfortable with managing multiple priorities with care and you have a strong performance and outcome focus. You are independent but a great team player, willing to share your knowledge and provide clarity, positivity and collaboration.
