About the Strategy & Impact Team

The Strategy & Impact team are responsible for driving the strategic direction of TFA and ensuring that our strategy is informed by robust analysis, data and evidence. We are responsible for designing and coordinating the key planning tools that ensure we are all pulling in the right direction and aligned to our strategy and organisational goals.

About the Position

The role will focus on the management of TFA’s data systems across the organisation. This involves maintaining and updating TFA’s database to ensure records are complete and accurate, supporting the administration of data collection activities, conducting first-level analyses of available data, visualising and communicating data to a range of audiences, and being the first point-of-call for providing statistics and relevant evidence to support TFA’s impact communication. This role is a learning opportunity for someone wanting to build proficiency in data monitoring, analysis, visualisation and communication, and will include on-the-job training to develop your skills in these areas. The role is well suited to a recent university graduate.

  • Studied a discipline at university that required you to perform basic data analysis activities.
  • Are committed to becoming proficient in data monitoring, analysis and visualisation, and see this as supporting your career aspirations.
  • Have a strong desire to learn and continuously improve: eager to up-skill in elements of the role that you are still developing in.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional planning and organisation skills.
  • Take a strategic and systematic approach to building processes and protocols to achieve an outcome.
  • A good communicator across all mediums, and are comfortable extracting key themes from available evidence, synthesising information, and adjusting tone to suit the audience.
  • Have strong relationship building and collaboration skills, and thrive in team-based work situations.
