Open Doors Youth Service is looking to recruit a Perm Part-time Alcohol and Other Drug Clinical Youth Worker to provide Psychosocial short term intervention to Youth who identify as LGBTIQA. Must has experience working within the AOD sector and have a passion to work with LGBTIQA young people between the ages of 12-24. 

We are looking for a passionate and driven Clinical Youth Worker who would like to work with a progressive and agile youth service. ODYS is Queensland's main LGBTIQA+ support service, who is passionate about LGBTIQA+ young people succeeding in all areas of their lives. 

Key responsibilities for this position include

  • Manage a caseload of young people and provide outreach and in-reach specialist AOD assessment and evidence-based psychosocial treatment to individuals and their families to minimise harm associated with AOD use.
  • Demonstrate an advanced understanding of the unique needs of LGBT youth and the community.
