Melaleuca Refugee Centre is the lead provider of services to people from refugee backgrounds in the NT. We provide counselling, advocacy and early settlement support to refugees.
Based in Darwin, the Corporate Services Manager will work closely with other Melaleuca staff and management to support people from refugee communities including individuals, families and communities; settlement services and mainstream health and community services.
We are seeking a self-motivated Corporate Services professional, with significant management experience in Human Resources, to lead this small, dedicated, multi-cultural team. Reporting to the Director, you will manage your team’s strategies, planning, operations, policies, systems and processes, ensuring alignment to the strategic direction of Melaleuca and to work collaboratively with the Management Team for continuous improvement.
Ideally you will have experience leading a Corporate Services or HR team and function, have strong organisational and communication skills & possess sustained energy & determination to set and meet challenging objectives and will welcome working in a diverse, cross cultural environment.
You will have previous experience in:
- Industrial/workplace relations and performance management
- Culture & Change management
- WHS & WorkCover background
- HR Compliance and Policy development
- Team building
- Recruitment, induction, engagement & retention
- IT; Facilities; Communications and Property management
