Live & Learn Environmental Education is seeking a Technical Writer to support our international programs. Based in Melbourne, but with the possibility of overseas travel, the Technical Writer will work with a dynamic team of education experts from Australia and the Asia-Pacific region to develop innovative, effective and appropriate resources on issues relating to Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH).
Specific duties
- Write and adapt Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) materials in different formats to suit a variety of audiences such as communities & schools and within a range of cultural contexts.
- Liaise with other Live & Learn staff, external stakeholders, contractors, and other personnel who are involved in developing and delivering programs and communication work.
- Assist various Live & Learn internal teams in the development of written and communications work.
- Provide editorial support for a variety of materials and resources across several thematic areas.
- Ensure the technical accuracy of Live & Learn publications.
- Provide high-level writing, editing and proof-reading expertise.
