The CEO has responsibility for the overall development and management of the operation of ACT Group and for supporting and promoting strategic development and growth.

The position works closely with, and is accountable to, the ACT Group Board. It is responsible for building and maintaining the reputation and profile of the ACT Group and strong relationships with stakeholders.

The CEO role will ensure that ACT Group’s strategic plan and agreed annual plans are delivered, and for pursuing new opportunities to improve business and financial growth.

Key Result Areas include:

  • Strategy, Management & Leadership
  • Financial Management
  • Business Development
  • Customer Service
  • Quality Control & Improvement

With a post-graduate degree in Business Management, Health Administration or similar (or working towards) you have demonstrated senior management or CEO experience within a complex operating environment.

You will also have demonstrable experience in:

  • Developing multi-year strategic, financial and business plans including the ability to attract, manage and acquit government and non-government contracts
  • Building professional relationships with diverse groups, including government, sector organisations and peak bodies, and practitioners

Clinical qualifications in Psychology (or similar) while not mandatory, would be highly desirable, as would your understanding of, and commitment to, the childhood trauma sector.
