Established in 2006, headspace is a well-recognised, national not-for-profit organisation making a difference to the lives of young people aged 12-25 years. headspace enables young people and their families to access information and support through a national network of centres and services, and drives community awareness and education about youth mental health, early intervention and help seeking.

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in the delivery of telehealth services to headspace and other eligible services across Australia. Our National Telehealth Service facilitates MBS bulk billed psychiatry support via video conference to young people and their families located in rural and regional areas. headspace Telehealth also provides psychiatric specialists for clinical supervision via telehealth to health providers working with young people in rural areas . Your involvement in this program will be supported by an administrative team.

As part of the growth of the National Telehealth Service, we are seeking AHPRA registered general psychiatrists and Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists as evidenced by a RANZCP Certificate of Advanced Training, with 5+ years of consulting experience. Furthermore, you will be well-practiced in working with clients in our target age group of 12 to 25 years and working within a multidisciplinary team.
