  • Senior Management Opportunity
  • Join an innovative and well recognised national Not for Profit
  • Make a difference to young people

Established in 2006, headspace is a well-recognised, national not-for-profit organisation making a difference to the lives of young people aged 12-25 years. headspace enables young people and their families to access information and support through a national network of centres and services, and drives community awareness and education about youth mental health, early intervention and help seeking.

An exciting role exists to strategically lead and manage headspace Centre Services and the headspace Model Integrity Framework (hMIF) programs. As a senior leader, you will be tasked with upholding the integrity, consistency and continuous improvement of the headspace model across the centre network in Australia.

Reporting to the Executive Director headspace Services, the Head of Centre Services serves as a primary link between headspace and the headspace centres, Lead Agencies and Primary Health Networks (PHNs). Optimising working relationships with these key stakeholders, this role is responsible for the ongoing development of the centre network through service improvement offerings and the implementation and monitoring programs that build capacity and operational effectiveness of headspace Centre services for young people, across the national network.

headspace is seeking an exceptional and well regarded senior leader with a proven track record in developing, managing and delivering health services to support young people at the national, state or regional level. To be successful in the role, you will have extensive senior management experience in public and/or private health environments and/or academic setting and strong experience in primary youth mental health service delivery in Australia.

Naturally, your personal style and exceptional communication skills will enable you to build key stakeholder relationships and strategic partnerships, including with key government, non-government and community partners that are critical to supporting the headspace network. You will be results driven with the capacity to negotiate successful outcomes in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.

In return we offer a flexible and dynamic environment where you have the opportunity to truly make a difference to young Australians. Remuneration is dependent on skills and experience, and includes generous salary packaging opportunities. This role is offered until 30 June 2020 in line with our funding term.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are strongly encouraged to apply.
