Carers NSW (CNSW) is the peak organisation for carers in NSW with a focus on improving the lives of all carers. We are a member of the national Network of Carers Associations and have an exclusive emphasis on supporting and advocating for all carers in the state.

This role is a part of the Carers + employers program and aims to raise awareness of the benefits of carers within the workforce, and support employers through an accredited program to become a carer friendly workplace. This position is responsible for the research and development of resources and collateral that is relevant to the Carers + Employers Network. This role will work in conjunction with the Project Coordinator to meet project delivery requirements.

In applying for this position, you will be able to demonstrate the following essential criteria:

  • Relevant qualification minimum Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training or TAA04 Cert IV Training and Assessment or working toward same
  • Demonstrated experience and sound knowledge of the principles of adult education and group work, to appropriately develop educational resources
  • Demonstrated experience in developing education content and resources for delivery across various mediums such as face to face, video link, webinars and e-learning technologies
  • Experience in identifying training needs and analysing gaps
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Strong time management and task prioritising skills
  • High level written, oral communication and computer skills
  • Ability to work unsupervised and within a team environment

The annual salary for this position is $85K-$89K package (based on SCHADS Award, Level 5). This includes base salary and superannuation. You will also have access to attractive salary sacrificing benefits.
