Co-ordinator - Windana Community Centre

Windana’s Community Centre (WCC) has offered complementary health care since the mid 1980s. The focus of the WCC is to provide affordable, multi modality, holistic approach, especially to high risk groups and the socio-economically disadvantaged, emphasising services in a strong community based with a distinct focus on empowerment.

Based on 16 hours per fortnight, the Co-ordinator of the Windana Community Centre assists in the management of the community centre’s practitioners, volunteers and clinic providers.

The successful candidate will have the following key competencies:

• A graduate diploma or degree in a complimentary medicine modality such as Naturopathy or Traditional Chinese Medicine
• Experience in working with people with mental health issues
• Empathetic to values of Windana
• Commitment to continuous quality improvement.
• Commitment to OH&S.
• Clinical experience – preferably in the AOD and/or Welfare Organisations

This position is part-time and is paid under the Social Community Homecare and Disability Services Industry Award (2010), based on $25.01 per hour plus optional salary packaging benefits, plus 9% superannuation.
