Youth Opportunities is on the hunt for an amazing all-rounder to join our dynamic team to help make a difference in the lives of young people. This is a 12-month contract, with the possibility of extension.

About the role:

The Training Administration Officer plays a key role in record keeping, database management, analysis of data and reporting, and support and administrative services for the training leadership team.

The Training Administration Officer may also act as a backup Program Trainer as required, delivering our 10-week Personal Leadership Program with high school students, including facilitation of group training, effective one-on-one coaching, and providing ongoing support once students graduate the program.

The Training Administration Officer is accountable for:

  • Efficient and timely delivery of training administration
  • Assist in the coordination of the training team
  • Assist in the training team continual improvement process, best practice guidelines and training delivery compliance
  • Safety, personal leadership and culture

Selection Criteria - successful applicants will have:

  • Strong organisation skills with evidence of delivery to deadlines
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • High level verbal & written communication, presentation and facilitation skills
  • Ability to be a positive role model, embodies personal leadership
  • Experience in statistical analysis and data reporting [desirable]
  • Tertiary qualification in Psychology [desirable]
  • Department of Communities and Social inclusion (DCSI) – Child Related Clearance*
  • Completed Responding to Abuse and Neglect – Education & Care (RAN-EC) training*
  • First Aid and Youth Mental Health certification*
  • Current driver’s license
